This year is slightly different. We always ask to donate a toy/new clothes/new toiletries and so forth....but think about this for one moment....if you were an abused woman with kids would you not want the flexibility to buy what you need for your kids and yourself as suppose to graciously accept whatever is there to choose from. A easy gift certificate give them the second chance to purchase what they need...a luxury that we take for granted.
